ABOUT

Anna Charlotte

Anna Charlotte Atelier is a Swedish colour and textile practice founded in 1994 by textile artist and creative director Anna Charlotte Rosenberg Bosten.

Working across handwoven textiles, interiors and material studies, the atelier is guided by a holistic approach in which colour, texture and natural fibres are brought together to create atmosphere and a lasting sense of place.

The first slow-design weaving studio was established in 2003–2004. Since then, an exclusive selection of handwoven rugs, tapestries and textiles has been developed using handspun yarns, natural dyes and traditional techniques. Material integrity, craftsmanship and long-term value remain at the core of the practice.

Alongside the collections, Anna Charlotte Atelier creates bespoke interiors and spatial compositions for private residences and selected projects.

Anna Charlotte's artistic language is expressed through a finely tuned palette inspired by the elements and rhythms of nature. Her ongoing interest in Eastern philosophy and Ayurvedic principles has further shaped a distinctive approach to colour and spatial experience.

Published in 2020, The Word of Colours forms the foundation of the atelier's continuing exploration of colour, material and space.

Over the years, Anna Charlotte has presented her work internationally through exhibitions and publications, with projects in Tokyo, Stockholm, London and Paris.
